Striving to be the very best version of herself she can possibly be, and dedicated to

breeding and the endurance sport, Kylie provides great motivation to those around her.

Passionate advocate for the endurance sport, proven respected endurance rider and compassionate team player, Kylie brings knowledge, maturity, exceptional organisational skills, team leadership, and a breath of fresh air to her role as our Assistant Trainer and Endurance Team Supervisor here at OSO.

Born into a farming family in Cowra, Central West NSW, for Kylie, endurance is a way of life that runs through her veins. From attending her first ride at the tender age of 6 weeks old and inspired by her parent’s passion for the sport, since then her fervent dedication for all thing’s endurance has continue to grow exponentially. Not only being a part of numerous committees running rides, from training weekends to the Tom Quilty Gold Cup and State Championships but equally as a successful competitor.

A close second to her unwavering commitment to endurance, is Kylie’s passion for Limousin cattle - both breeding and showing. With over 13 years' in the beef industry, she has spent the past 8 years managing one of Australia’s leading Limousin Cattle studs.

With numerous achievements in endurance riding and breeding and showing her Limousin cattle such as, achieving her first Shahzada buckle as a Junior with her Dad in 2003 and her first Tom Quilty buckle in 2019, along with major wins at the Royal Canberra Show winning overall Interbreed Champion with her Limousin Bull in 2010 and her first Broad Ribbon with a Home Bred Limousin in 2014, Kylie's drive and passion are undisputed.

Always embracing new opportunities that continue to challenge her capabilities, and that further develop her personal and professional growth, together with a keen desire to focus more on her horsemanship, we were incredibly excited when Kylie agreed to join our OSO family in early 2020.

Leading our endurance team in the day-to-day running of the endurance barn, Kylie's role at OSO is two-fold. As Assistant Trainer, she supports Amanda as her 2IC assisting in developing the specific plans for each of our endurance team horses, implementing every phase of their training program that ultimately leads to them competing at their chosen competitions; and, as Endurance Team Supervisor, she leads our team of riders in focused planning, preparation, training and participation at each endurance competition, together with their ongoing training and development.

With a fantastic work ethic and the ability to motivate and encourage our endurance team to work cohesively and towards our mutual goals, with the team already garnering steady successes in the 2020 Endurance Ride season so far, Kylie’s contribution to Team OSO is already clear.

Our quiet little country girl with big dreams for her horses and Limousin cattle, we are incredibly fortunate to have her leading our strong, dynamic and passionate endurance team, inspiring them to grow and accomplish not only OSO’s goals but their own goals too.
