Oso Arabians springs from the desire to see bloodlines and breeding stay intact. Oso Arabians comes from two main breeding lines which are Kelkette Park and Al Marah Arabians (USA). Both these herds demonstrate the versatility, conformation and temperament of the Arabian horse.
Both Bazy Tankersley (Al Marah) and Margarette Bohm have Crabbet bred Arabians which they have line bred or carefully out-crossed over the years.
Both ladies leaned to certain lines such as Indraff or Silver Moonlight. We hope to cross the American lines back with the Silver Moonlight lines thus the importation of SDA Silver Legend.
The stud strives to breed the very best stock for Endurance riding. All our young up and coming endurance horses enjoy a happy natural 'childhood' and then only when physically and mentally strong enough they are professionally broken in.
The fantastic riding around the farm up in the hill country ensures they are fit and ready to go on in their future career.
Whilst Endurance is looked upon as the mainstay for our horses we must not write them off for other pursuits. Oso horses are versatile and with the temperament, conformation and stamina can be considered for many other jobs including Showing (Ridden/Halter), Reining, Dressage or Polo.
The stud has a selection of quality horses for sale to suit most abilities from qualified endurance horses through to yearlings and newly broken in horses.
