SHOW RIDER & TRAINER ~ DRESSAGE

Successful applicants must have the following attributes: 

 

  • ​Exeptional horsemanship skills 

  • Highly experienced in working with and riding young horses pre/post-breaking through to high-level dressage/show horses 

  • Proven track record in competitive dressage or showing 

  • Confidence and ability to ride at local and national level 

  • A high standard of presentation including plaiting, trimming and clipping 

  • A team player who’ll put the health and welfare of our people and horses first  

  • Someone enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently when required  

  • A worthy ambassador for the OSO brand – you’ll have a mature and positive attitude, great attention to detail and be clean in appearance and work habits. 

  • Full driver’s licence (truck licence not critical but a bonus) 

  • Honesty, integrity, a sense of humour, and of course, awesome references!

  • If required, full board – large shared modern accommodation – utility bills included 

  • 88-day VISA can be covered (min stay 6 months over show season, longer preferred) 

  • Ongoing professional dressage instruction 

  • Opportunities to compete at national show/dressage events
